Introducing
Lomi Lomi Massage

This ancient Hawaiian massage technique is Lomi Lomi (Rub Rub), was developed by Hawaiian nurse, Margaret Machado. It uses gentle strokes similar to Shiatsu technique.

The massage therapist uses his/her forearms in long, continuous, flowing motions along the client's body using varying amounts of pressure. Using this modality, the therapist has far less repetitive stress on the use of their hands and fingers.

Lomi lomi is performed as an energetic dance (called Flying) by the practictioner in combination with breathing technique. While the client experiences relaxation, the massage therapist is also energized and left feeling stronger after the session.

The standard time for a Lomi Lomi massage is 90 minutes.
